Rates, Terms, Warranties, Unit Increments and Definition of Services:
The Upfront Payment and Support Agreement Services Unit Rate is R290.00 Exc. VAT.
The Standard Services Unit Rate is R340.00 Exc. VAT.

Transit, made up of a separate AA/Fuel and Time Component will be charged and invoiced per km per technician:
Call-Out Transit Rate (AA/Fuel Component) per km, fluctuates with AA/Fuel Rate: R4.00 Exc. VAT
Call-Out Transit Rate (Time Component) per km if >10km from the Supplier's office, fluctuates with Unit Rate. (Calculation: [Unit Rate/100km per hour] X Client One-Way Mileage X2): [R2.90 Exc. VAT]


Support Agreements:
Clients have the option to purchase a Support Agreement for a block of Units of IT Support with guaranteed response times at the reduced Upfront Payment Unit Rate as opposed to the Standard Unit Rate. Transit, made up of a separate AA/Fuel and Time Component - only if >10km from our office, will be charged and invoiced per km per Technician.

The Agreement is formulated in such a way that the Client can determine the block of units purchased; manage and modify the type and frequency of the Support; the assigned IT Technicians; and the Administrative procedure to be followed by our IT Staff. All rates, service categories, and service type unit weightings are listed and transparent. The Support Agreement activates on payment and can be terminated within a one calendar month notice period. Comprehensive statements are generated and submitted monthly.


Terms and Warranties:
Pricing excludes VAT and is subject to component availability and dealership pricing, which fluctuates daily. All warranties are carry-in, based on and determined by the respective manufacturers. Item pricing is calculated at our reduced Upfront Payment Rate; add 8% to calculate the COD Payment Rate. Ownership of the materials remains the property of Silicon Overdrive and is only passed on to the Client on full and final settlement of all invoices. We reserve the right to dismantle and remove from site any materials or undo any service not paid in full within a month of the invoice date. Silicon Overdrive may provide a service to assist the Client with their data backups, but all responsibility of the data backup resides with the Client. At no time shall Silicon Overdrive be liable for consequential or incidental damages or data loss of any kind or any nature whatsoever or that may arise through the use of the equipment. The Client also acknowledges that productivity and/or loss thereof, data security, data damage and/or loss thereof is not the responsibility of Silicon Overdrive, and the repair and/or restoration thereof is not covered by Silicon Overdrive. The Client agrees to implement and maintain appropriate data backup procedures and ensure that the correct data is backed up.

Advanced Support and Maintenance includes:
Microsoft based Server and Server services; Linux based Server and Server services; ADSL and other Advanced Communication services, Wireless and other Advanced Network services; Software Application support including Pastel and other Advanced Software Application services; PDA, Blackberry and Cell Phone integration services; Mac services; Software Development; Web Development etc.

    Microsoft based desktop workstation and notebook support services.

    General network support services.

    Non-Technical services includes:
    Management support, presentations and Client meetings; research; and technical reports and specifications.

    * Office Hours are defined as being between 09:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday, excluding Holidays and Public Holidays.
    ** After Office hours are defined as being before 09:00 and after 17:00 Monday to Friday, excluding Holidays and Public Holidays.
    *** Services requested by the Client on Saturday, Sunday, Holidays and Public Holidays will be delivered at the sole discretion of, and consent of the Supplier.
