Microsoft recently released its Office 365 enhancements for July and we’re excited to share them with you today. Microsoft allows businesses to meet their compliance requirements and easily manage their security policies.
With the focus on Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Advanced Threat Defender, Outlook, Yammer, and more, here is an in-depth look at some of Microsoft’s July 2019 updates.
Easily Protect Your Business Against Cyber Security Threats
Admins can now provide users with secure, passwordless access to apps and services when they work with Azure Active Directory.
Easily assign passwordless credentials to groups and also allow self-service signups.
Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) has been available to the general public since last month. There are new advanced, cloud-powered capabilities with TVM which provide continuous real-time vulnerability management.
You can sign up for a trial of Microsoft Defender ATP and TVM here.
Easier Collaboration & Improved Productivity
If you are using Microsoft Outlook on the desktop, you’re now able to add polls to your Outlook emails by using Microsoft Quick Polls.
Recipients can vote directly in the poll you sent via email, or they can simply vote in their browser.
You can also check the results from the voting card in your email.
Just simply download the Quick Polls add-in for Outlook to get started.
Users can now easily book meeting rooms on Outlook on the web. You can see which rooms are available and search by room or city. Neat, right?
A new feature is added to Yammer this month to help specific questions stand out from the general discussion area.
If you’re a group admin or post author, you can mark the best response to questions as a “Best Answer”. This will help it stand out for users searching.
Improve Quality of Software Deployments
The preview for Desktop Analytics is now available to the general public. This cloud service helps you make decisions about the readiness of your Windows clients ahead of upcoming Window 10 deployments.
You are able to create an inventory of the Windows apps currently running in your organisation and check if its compatibility with the latest feature updates of Windows 10.
Those are just a few of the new features launched by Microsoft this month. Increased security and improved workflows are just some of the great updates in Microsoft 365.
