Established in 1967 as a painting and waterproofing contractor in Cape Town, Indawo soon became an industry leader.
They are most well-known for unrivalled workmanship, service excellence, and a high work ethic. Indawo offers solutions to building owners and facilities managers, ranging from flooring to roofing in South Africa.
Indawo contracted Silicon Overdrive to custom build an all-in-one project management solution that would integrate with their accounting system to eliminate double entry of projects, costs and key data.
Our team of developers built a web portal to provide Indawo’s team the ability to oversee projects, costs and key indicators.
The new software provides a visual overview of whether a project is on time and within budget, comparing budget to actual spend, and predicts whether they are likely to finish a project within the set timeframe. It also incorporates a stock and asset management system, and a console to display targets and KPIs for the sales teams and other staff.
The Indawo team is now able to view all their projects in user-friendly platforms via a desktop application and online web portal. This provides critical business information which helps in the decision making process. In addition, since the application was custom built for Indawo there are no licencing fees to consider.
