Platform as a Service (PaaS)

PaaS delivers a framework for developers through a dashboard or an API, to build upon and use to create customised platforms or software applications. The servers, storage, and networking can be managed by the enterprise or a third-party provider while the developers maintain the management of the applications. Examples of PaaS include AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Google App Engine or OpenShift.
